After a 20 hour drive through torential thunderstorms we made it to LaCrosse where we checked into our room, took showers, got something to eat and stocked up on food. With the rainstorm outside we were not able to work on the “Joanie Belle” so we had a few beers in the lounge and talked about the river. At about 9:30 central time we crashed pretty heavily and slept. Tomorrow is D-day.
